They are looking for a CFP to own client relationships and provide exceptional planning experiences, focusing on actionable financial plans and operational infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build clear, actionable financial plans in MoneyGuidePro
- Provide ongoing advice across goals-based investing, cash flow, equity compensation, student loans, home buying, and other 30-something milestones
- Guide clients through major life decisions with action items, not options
- Handle all meeting prep, follow-up, and action item execution
- Translate financial complexity into language clients actually act on
- Own back office workflows including account opening, money movement, trade execution, and rebalancing support
- Maintain the CRM and client records with accuracy and discipline
- Coordinate with custodians and third-party vendors to resolve issues and ensure service quality
- Own regulatory documentation, entity filings, state registrations, and tax deadlines
- Keep vendor relationships organized and flag issues before they become problems
Skills
- CFP designation required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning with meaningful client-facing exposure
- Proficiency in MoneyGuidePro or comparable planning software
- Fluency with back office operations in an RIA environment
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can run a client meeting and write a compelling follow-up
- Experience in an independent RIA, boutique firm, or startup environment strongly preferred
- East Coast or Central timezone preferred
