[Remote] Network Engineer II

They are seeking a Network Engineer II to design and implement a global network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security in a multi-vendor environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining our global network infrastructure
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data models and functional requirements
• Configuring BGP and troubleshooting for complex peering relationships
• Implementing new hardware platforms and network features within the automation framework
• Acting as a subject matter expert and final point of escalation for production network issues
• Creating and maintaining clear documentation & procedures

Skills

• 5 years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent experience
• Experience in IP network design and implementation of scalable BGP routing architecture
• Understanding of Data Center architecture, including CLOS Fabric and overlay technologies such as VxLAN and EVPN
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting multi-vendor environments like Juniper, Cisco & routing platforms like BIRD, FRR and Cumulus
• Understanding of end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns
• Highly organized self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams
