Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Turn2Partners is seeking a Legal Document Specialist to support their legal team. The role involves responding to document requests, creating and formatting legal documents, and managing document production efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Respond to document requests from attorneys and staff in a fast-paced legal environment
- Create, edit, and format complex legal documents using Microsoft Office and other document production tools
- Troubleshoot document formatting and production issues
- Convert and edit documents between different file types and applications
- Prepare presentations, charts, letters, and mail merges
- Follow legal formatting standards and ensure documents are accurate and consistent
- Manage requests from start to finish while meeting deadlines
- Resolve document production issues independently
- Work with team members to balance workloads and support department needs
- Stay up to date on document production software and procedures
Skills
- 5+ years of legal administrative / document production experience, law firm experience required
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
- Experience editing PDF documents
- Experience with document management and legal software (such as iManage, Litera, or similar)
- Strong document formatting and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
