Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Performance Improvement Partners (PIP) is a high-growth technology consulting firm specializing in Private Equity's middle market. They are seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations, enhance process improvements, and drive automation within the Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance system integrations
- Support ongoing improvements in financial reporting and operational efficiency
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking activities
- A/P, A/R, payroll and commission management
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Support accrual schedules and tracking across various expense categories
- Bank and credit card reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and applicable financial regulations
- Assist with external audits
- Support tax preparation activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with interest in process improvement
