Daksta is partnering with a well-established electrical contractor that delivers large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the United States. They are seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers to manage the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, ensuring successful delivery for leading global technology clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning and project closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and procurement plans
- Lead project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, change orders, and profit management
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents
- Lead MEP coordination meetings and collaborate with other trades to resolve design and construction challenges
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, quality standards, and company safety procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Support commissioning activities and project turnover to the client
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction methods and systems
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships
- Understanding of MEP coordination and large-scale construction sequencing
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Hyperscale or colocation data center projects
- Mission-critical facilities
- Healthcare, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other complex commercial projects
- Experience with BIM coordination, commissioning, and electrical testing
- Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
