The role involves connecting with potential clients, conducting discovery conversations, and managing follow-up activities to foster business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Generate enquiries through approved digital marketing platforms
- Follow up with people who have requested business information
- Conduct brief discovery and qualification calls
- Build professional relationships with prospective clients
- Explain the next steps clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of conversations and follow-up activity
- Follow an established business development and lead-management process
- Participate in ongoing online training and professional development
- Manage your own schedule and daily business-building activities
Skills
- Experience in business development, sales, client relations, recruitment, customer service or professional communication
- Ability to communicate confidently by phone, email and online platforms
- Organised, dependable and comfortable working independently
- Ability to commit approximately 15–20 hours each week
- Comfortable generating enquiries and following up with prospective clients
- Willing to learn and follow a proven business process
- Interested in a flexible and non-traditional way of working
- Currently reside in the United States
- Legally authorised to work in the USA
