Description:
• Define the vision, structure, operating model, and talent strategy for a high-performing global IT organization.
• Serve as the IT executive voice in cross-functional and C-suite discussions, translating infrastructure needs into business decisions.
• Own the multi-year technology roadmap for network infrastructure, end-user computing, cloud connectivity, and OT across all sites.
• Set and enforce enterprise architecture standards and security baselines for core network and edge technologies.
• Lead infrastructure planning for site expansions, greenfield buildouts, and M&A integration events.
• Own ShipMonk’s cybersecurity strategy, risk posture, compliance frameworks, and incident response readiness.
• Design and manage IT service delivery, including SLAs, escalation paths, incident workflows, and end-user support.
• Build and maintain a mature IT asset management program covering procurement, provisioning, tracking, refresh, and decommissioning.
• Own the digital workplace strategy for endpoints, collaboration tools, IAM, and productivity platforms.
• Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and sourcing strategies for strategic IT partners.
• Own the IT operating and capital budgets, forecasting, reporting, and investment business cases.
• Establish peak season readiness, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes across all sites.
Requirements:
• 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior director or VP-level role with full IT ownership.
• Proven experience transforming IT functions in high-growth, multi-site environments; warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, or similar operational settings strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in enterprise network architecture, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proven experience owning cybersecurity strategy and risk governance at the infrastructure level, with familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams, including on-site IT operations at scale.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar IT operating and capital budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to build vendor management programs, negotiate enterprise contracts, and manage strategic suppliers.
• Experience in 3PL, fulfillment operations, e-commerce infrastructure, or supply chain technology environments strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology ecosystems such as WMS/OMS platforms, barcode scanners, label printing infrastructure, industrial Wi-Fi, and ruggedized device management.
• Experience leading IT through M&A events, including infrastructure integration, due diligence, and post-acquisition standardization.
• Exposure to operational technology (OT) environments and IT/OT convergence in fulfillment or manufacturing settings.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP/CCIE, ITIL, or PMP are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree such as an MBA or MS in a technical discipline is preferred.
