As a Video Editing Intern, you will support the creative and marketing teams by assisting in the production of engaging and high-quality video content. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their journey in video production and editing, providing hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and workflows. You will collaborate closely with senior editors and other cross-functional teams to create impactful visual stories for digital platforms.



Requirements

  • Assist in Video Projects: Work under the guidance of senior editors to edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

  • Basic Post-Production: Support in tasks such as trimming, sequencing, color correction, adding text overlays, transitions, and basic visual effects.

  • Sound Design: Assist with basic audio cleanup, background music selection, and syncing audio with visuals to ensure a smooth viewer experience.

  • Collaboration: Work with content creators, designers, and marketers to align video content with brand tone and messaging.

  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain video project files, stock assets, and raw footage libraries for efficient access and reuse.

  • Feedback Integration: Implement feedback from team members to refine video edits and improve storytelling.

  • Documentation: Help create and maintain editing guidelines or templates for consistent output across video projects.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with trends in video content, editing styles, and new features in editing software to enhance your skills.

  • Motion Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, Canva (for simple animated templates)

  • Sound Tools: Audacity, Adobe Audition (optional)

  • Collaboration Tools: Google Drive, Notion, Trello, Slack

  • Content Repositories: Pexels, Storyblocks, Envato Elements (for stock footage & assets)
