We are looking for a Trust & Safety Policy Specialist to help build global content governance policies for our moderation API and enterprise workflows.
You will translate global Trust & Safety regulations, platform risk standards, and abuse patterns into clear policy taxonomies, enforcement rules, reviewer guidelines, and customer-facing policy configurations.
### Responsibilities
• Track global Trust & Safety regulations and platform governance standards.
• Define policy taxonomies, risk categories, enforcement rules, and review guidelines.
• Cover key harm areas such as hate, harassment, violence, sexual content, child safety, misinformation, fraud, and spam.
• Work with product and engineering teams to turn policies into API logic, thresholds, workflows, and audit trails.
• Support enterprise customers in adapting policies to their platform context, markets, and risk tolerance.
• Analyze edge cases, appeals, false positives, and false negatives to improve policy quality.
### Requirements
• Experience in Trust & Safety, platform policy, content moderation, compliance, or online safety.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous content policy decisions.
• Ability to turn complex regulations and policy needs into practical product and operational rules.
• Strong writing, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI moderation, policy taxonomies, or human review workflows is a plus.
