Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform project management for the full project lifecycle development and implementation of technical activities that ensure successful project completion. • Serve as the point of contact and client interface for project technology related issues. • Manage project expectations, evaluate project needs, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that program needs are met with respect to urgency and priority. • Develop trust, credibility, and strong client relationships; seek opportunities to add value to internal and external client initiatives. • Review all project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy meet project, stakeholder, and contractual standards. • Execute all project management functions including; work breakdown and cost estimation, scheduling, monitoring and tracking of technical progress against the defined timetables and budgets, and staff assignment and development. • Lead and direct the successful delivery of application development, systems integration, infrastructure, and product installation/customization services while ensuring that assigned projects adhere to the approved life cycle work patterns, standards, and procedures for solution delivery. • Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the organization within area of expertise. • Responsible for developing mid-to-long-term plans on how to optimize the project/program and the talent required to execute strategies for the area of responsibility. • Define and implement development plans for assigned projects. • Identify and assess new functional capabilities supporting engineering change proposals and additional follow up work. • Identify, track, manage, and communicate risks and issues with stakeholders and upper management. • Ensure that all appropriate costs are included in quarterly forecasts. • Coordinate, prepare, and manage technical presentations and functional demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders. • Responsible for adhering to established safety standards. Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary delivery leader and central point of contact. • Direct end-to-end execution of complex enterprise technology initiatives. • Lead integrated planning and execution across engineering, product, operations, security, finance, contracts, and business stakeholders. • Work closely with the Chief Software Engineer and Product Owner to ensure coordinated delivery, requirements alignment, and timely issue resolution. • Lead program kickoffs, governance forums, and weekly, monthly, and quarterly delivery reviews, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and corrective actions. • Champion Agile delivery practices across multiple teams and workstreams. • Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven insights to improve delivery planning, reporting, risk identification, decision support, and operational efficiency. • Manage RAID processes, including identification, analysis, mitigation planning, escalation, and ongoing tracking of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies within the integrated project plan. • Partner with contracts and program leadership to manage project and contract deliverables, monitor scope alignment, and proactively address schedule or scope variances with internal and client stakeholders. • Oversee delivery across application development, systems integration, infrastructure implementation, and deployment activities to ensure adherence to lifecycle standards, security requirements, and operational readiness expectations. • Use standardized delivery and portfolio management tools to provide transparent, accurate, and timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required. Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: • Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. • Per customer requirements, this position requires United States Citizenship. • 8+ years of experience in project management or program management roles delivering large, cross-functional initiatives in medium to large organizations. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Agile environments. • Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments, building strong relationships with executive leadership to drive alignment, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD-issued security clearance. #techjobs #clearance
