Position Overview
The Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Transplant Services role is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 7:30 pm). You will work exclusively on weekdays—no weekends or holidays—allowing you to maintain a healthy work‑life balance while contributing to a critical segment of our specialty pharmacy network.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter transplant‑related prescription data into the pharmacy management system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Identify and flag questionable prescriptions; route them promptly to the supervising pharmacist for review and resolution.
- Initiate outbound communications (phone calls, faxes, secure emails) with prescribers to clarify prescription details, request substitutions, or discuss formulary changes.
- Maintain meticulous records of all patient referrals, prescription adjudications, and communication logs to support audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the call‑center team to provide seamless, high‑quality customer service while managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
- Utilize strong computer skills to navigate multiple software platforms, including electronic health records (EHR), pharmacy dispensing systems, and secure messaging tools.

Essential Qualifications

- Current Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of Georgia (GA).
