Job Description:
• Lead structural and foundation design for large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Review calculations and site plans, solving technical challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, support field teams, and help drive continuous improvement across design standards.
• Establish safe engineering designs that comply with company, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage designs that provide the most economical means to satisfy the design life of the power plant.
• Collaborate with company departments, outside vendors, suppliers, and technical firms to explore innovative ideas, methods, and technologies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or related field required.
• Four or more years of progressive engineering and engineering supervisory experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.
• At a minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training certificate with potential to become a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 months preferred.
• Professional Engineer license, with an emphasis on construction, geotechnical, or structural engineering preferred.
• Surveying experience preferred.
