Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amsted Rail is a globally integrated manufacturer, continuously improving the heavy haul landscape. They are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to manage and support HR systems, particularly UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, while collaborating with HR and Payroll teams to ensure a compliant and user-friendly experience.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, including configuration, troubleshooting, day-to-day administration, and recurring production support activities
- Manage timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, security access, and employee data with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations to resolve issues, improve processes, and support business needs
- Participate in system updates, testing, implementations, reporting, project planning, change support, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and deliver documentation, training materials, and user guidance for new processes, functionality, and system users to support adoption and ongoing success
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HRIS experience, including hands-on configuration and system administration
- Strong experience with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management
- Knowledge of timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, security access, and HR/Payroll processes
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment using qualitative and quantitative information, and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with union or collective bargaining agreement configurations
- Experience working in Human Resources or Payroll and with key U.S. regulations
- Familiarity with reporting and automation tools such as Power BI or Power Automate
- Interest in current HRIS trends, product capabilities, user groups, or other professional development channels
