Applied Resource Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to play a critical role in the evolution of a marketplace platform. The engineer will work collaboratively to modernize the application, integrate it with enterprise systems, and contribute to product development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications using React and Ruby on Rails
- Own features from technical design through production deployment
- Modernize and enhance an existing marketplace application while reducing technical debt
- Integrate the platform with enterprise systems including inventory, ordering, and future point-of-sale solutions
- Collaborate directly with product leadership to define technical solutions with minimal documentation
- Build scalable APIs and user interfaces that support future platform growth
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
- Contribute architectural ideas while remaining a hands-on software developer
- Help establish best practices as the engineering team expands
Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience building modern web applications with React
- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript experience
- Experience building full stack applications
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services
- Experience working with Git-based development workflows
- Comfortable working independently with limited direction
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with technical and business stakeholders
