Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, plan, and manage culinary aspects of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring a high-quality guest experience. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives, dietary needs, and aesthetic preferences. Source and vet high-quality local and national catering partners for client events. Develop innovative menu proposals, focusing on unique culinary themes and presentation styles suitable for remote delivery. Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability for each event. Coordinate logistics for ingredient delivery, meal kit assembly, and any on-site or at-home components. Create engaging content and guides for virtual attendees to enhance their culinary experience. Liaise with event technology providers to integrate culinary elements seamlessly into virtual platforms. Provide exceptional client service throughout the planning process and event execution. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and best practices for the remote catering division. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in event planning, catering management, or a related culinary field, with a strong emphasis on creativity and execution. Proven experience in developing and managing detailed event plans and budgets. Exceptional understanding of food and beverage, including dietary restrictions and current culinary trends. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Asana) and event management software. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. Experience with curating unique food and beverage experiences for diverse audiences. Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
