The SEO Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the company's online presence.
Responsibilities
- Maximize valuable insights into our customer relationship management system
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for targeted content creation and optimization
- Develop comprehensive and tailored SEO strategies aligned with the company's goals and industry best practices
- Perform website audits to identify technical issues, on-page SEO opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with content creators, developers, and designers to ensure on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and internal linking, are optimized for search engines
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software, and provide actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and changes in the SEO landscape, and adapt strategies accordingly
- Develop and manage backlink strategies to improve the website's authority and credibility
- Perform competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in our SEO efforts compared to industry competitors
- Create and present regular reports on SEO performance and progress to stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to integrate SEO strategies with broader marketing initiatives
- Provide guidance and recommendations for website structure, URL optimization, and user experience improvements from an SEO perspective
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the digital marketing space and provide innovative ideas to improve our SEO efforts
- Conduct monthly campaign evaluation and reporting
Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Information Systems, or related areas
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges
- Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven track record of successful SEO strategies and implementation, resulting in improved organic search performance
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and website development principles as they relate to SEO
- Reliable, fast internet connection and a dependable computer setup
- Certification in SEO or related digital marketing fields is a plus
