JSK Recruiting, Inc. is a well-established industrial manufacturer seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to manage a defined territory focused on process industry accounts. The role involves building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop the assigned territory through proactive demand creation and new relationship building
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with target process industry accounts
- Conduct regular customer visits, needs assessments, and business reviews with key decision makers
- Expand wallet share within existing accounts by uncovering additional applications and opportunities
- Coordinate with inside sales, customer service, and application engineers to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline with consistent activity and forecasting
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions as needed
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs within the territory
Skills
- BS/BA required; Engineering, Operations, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of sales in an outside B2B industrial sales; candidates with less experience and strong fundamentals will be considered
- Process industry background strongly preferred including oil and gas, refining, or chemical manufacturing
- Comfortable working in plant and refinery environments including wearing PPE and navigating large industrial facilities
- Proven ability to build relationships and convert new business, not just manage existing accounts
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical value propositions
- Ability to read technical drawings and P&IDs is a plus
- Self-motivated, high energy, and comfortable selling a premium product at a price premium
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
