OCHIN, Inc. is a nonprofit leader in health care innovation, seeking a Revenue Operations Partner- Billing to provide revenue cycle and account management services to member clients. The role focuses on optimizing reimbursement outcomes and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance and effective project oversight.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and effective accounts receivable services on behalf of member clients to optimize reimbursement outcomes
- Support OCHIN’s revenue cycle performance indicators to ensure the financial health of both clients and the organization
- Take ownership of project deliverables by tracking progress, monitoring team member responsibilities, and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Submit final project outcomes to the supervisor, maintaining accountability for quality and timeliness
- Monitor and analyze billing trends to identify potential impacts on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Communicate relevant findings to member clients and collaborate with Supervisors to escalate unresolved issues to Operations Managers when necessary
- Collaborate with Billing Specialists to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient claims across various payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Workers’ Compensation, motor vehicle and personal injury claims, third-party payers, self-pay/uninsured, and commercial insurance
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Experience working in EPICs Resolute system Required
- For Acute Care hospital work, rural hospital experience is required
- 3-5 Years of experience in billing and / or coding revenue cycle experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes, legal requirements knowledge preferred
- FQHC Experience and knowledge preferred
- Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), preferred
