The Quality Engineer will ensure high-quality experiences across various products and systems, engaging in both manual and automated testing while collaborating with multiple teams to enhance product quality.
Responsibilities
• Perform manual, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple products and systems
• Design, build, and maintain automated tests and quality tooling using Python and modern testing frameworks
• Validate functionality across web applications, APIs, backend services, blockchain infrastructure, and protocol-level features
• Investigate issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and distributed systems
• Analyze logs, metrics, network traffic, and system behavior to identify root causes and quality risks
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to release validation, test strategy, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
• Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate testing, automation, investigation, and overall quality engineering productivity
• Support new products, features, and initiatives as business priorities evolve
• Assist with production investigations, incident analysis, and post-release validation when needed
• Proactively identify quality gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve product reliability and testing coverage
Skills
• Experience testing blockchain protocols, Layer 1 networks, validators, nodes, wallets, smart contract integrations, or Web3 applications
• Experience testing trading platforms, exchanges, financial systems, or other complex distributed applications
• Experience with both manual testing and test automation
• Proficiency in Python and experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks and tooling
• Experience with Playwright, Pytest, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or similar technologies
• Experience testing and debugging REST, gRPC, WebSocket, or other API-driven systems
• Familiarity with blockchain transactions, wallet integrations, blockchain explorers, and smart contract interactions
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across multiple layers of the technology stack
• Ability to quickly learn new products, technologies, and domains with minimal guidance
• Comfortable contributing across different products, technologies, and layers of the stack rather than focusing on a single specialization
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive investigations from problem discovery through resolution
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity while applying sound engineering judgment and common sense
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and challenges
