Turing is the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs, and they are seeking Public Recreation Workers to contribute to projects that enhance AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in public recreation to improve community programming and operational efficiency in government recreation services.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve real-world recreation and community service scenarios to test AI reasoning
- Write clear, structured explanations covering program design, facility operations, budgeting, and event coordination
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, inclusivity, and alignment with public service standards
- Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of municipal recreation workflows and community engagement practices
Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a recreation worker or supervisor in government, municipal parks, or public recreation programs
- Comfortable using web-based tools for data review and annotation
- Strong English communication and reasoning skills
- Ability to describe program operations and community engagement processes clearly and effectively
- Background in Recreation Management, Public Administration, Parks & Leisure, or a related field
