The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by selling merchant card processing and payment solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, focusing on prospecting and closing new accounts while delivering a strong customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new merchant clients within assigned territory or vertical
- Present and sell Peri by Solera payment processing solutions
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions
- Negotiate pricing and close new business to meet or exceed quota
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in Salesforce CRM
- Partner with onboarding and support teams for successful implementations
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive offerings
Skills
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience in merchant card processing, payment solutions, or financial services preferred
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Existing network Merchant clients
