Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Douglas Dynamics, Inc. is North America’s premier manufacturer and upfitter of commercial work truck attachments and equipment. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth within an assigned East Coast territory, focusing on expanding market share and building long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a territory growth plan to increase sales volume and market penetration
- Drive revenue growth while ensuring alignment with company profitability and strategic goals
- Manage pricing, deal structure, and account strategies to maintain margin expectations
- Forecast sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Build, maintain, and actively manage a strong sales pipeline to support sustained growth
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers and expand share of wallet with key accounts
- Actively prospect and develop new customers, including fleets and industry partners
- Deliver a consultative sales approach by identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the full sales cycle
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales support, engineering, marketing, and operations) to deliver solutions and ensure execution
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements while providing market insights
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience within B2B distribution
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage accounts and close deals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Ability to travel 50%–75%
- Experience in the truck equipment industry
- Knowledge of truck-mounted service cranes or similar equipment
- Florida-based, ideally near a major airport
