Wed Society® | Atlanta is seeking a dynamic, full-time, fully remote Media Account Executive to drive membership sales and revenue growth in their local market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and building strong relationships within the wedding and event community to support client growth and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and pipeline development to presenting proposals, closing memberships, and onboarding new accounts
- Identify, research, and pursue prospective vendor members through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, email, phone, social media, and in-person meetings
- Conduct effective virtual and in-person sales meetings to understand client goals, present Wed Society® membership opportunities, and recommend the best advertising solutions
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing members to support retention, satisfaction, renewals, and long-term growth
- Maintain regular client communication and serve as a responsive, solutions-oriented point of contact throughout the sales and renewal process
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure a seamless member experience and successful execution of membership benefits and promotional opportunities
- Track outreach, meetings, opportunities, and sales activity within CRM tools such as HubSpot to maintain accurate records and forecasting
- Represent Wed Society® Atlanta at local networking events, industry gatherings, and company events to cultivate relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Stay informed on market trends, vendor needs, competitive positioning, and the local wedding industry landscape to strengthen sales conversations and strategy
Skills
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales, media sales, advertising sales, or business development
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, developing leads, and closing deals
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client needs and match them with effective solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and closing abilities
- Proven relationship-building and client service skills with a focus on long-term partnership development
- Self-motivated, independent, competitive, and resilient with a results-driven mindset
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a remote team
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with tools like Asana is a plus
