Barantech is seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Southeast U.S. leisure marine market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the boating industry and proven success selling marine electronic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales within the leisure craft market (OEMs, boat builders, dealers, and integrators)
- Promote and sell advanced marine electronic solutions to new and existing customers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts across the region
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion
- Support customers with product knowledge, system integration insights, and technical positioning
- Represent the company at industry events, boat shows, and customer meetings
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to align market needs with offerings
Skills
- Proven experience selling into the U.S. leisure marine industry
- Strong background in marine electronics (navigation, control systems, onboard integration, etc.)
- Solid understanding of NMEA 2000 and marine networked systems
- Established relationships with boat builders, dealers, or marine integrators in the Southeast
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven, independent, and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
- Experience working with OEMs and production boat builders
- Technical background or hands-on experience with marine systems installation/integration
- Familiarity with related standards, protocols, and onboard system architectures
