Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies is seeking a Lead Regional EHS Analyst to support environmental, health, safety, and security efforts for their national workforce. The role involves managing EHS initiatives, compliance programs, and training, while also leading safety design reviews and incident investigations.
Responsibilities
- Supports EHS Manager in development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives. Including the development of goals for site manager, leadership team, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results
- Assist with the facilitation of customer contract negotiations and safety pre-qualification compliance
- Lead new product development safety design reviews for CPS Service business
- Support integration of newly acquired companies and transition to Zero Incident Safety Culture
- Support the EHS Manager and with for all Environmental, Safety, and Health compliance programs
- Support the implementation of MESH (Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health) and utilize MESH tools to drive improvements by participating and co-leading MESH Teams
- Manage and track all training for field service on NFPA 70E, OSHA, EPA, DOT, regulations and standards. This includes live training of over 270 personnel
- Track divisional compliance and manage multiple 3rd Party Verification Software Systems, such as ISNetworld, Avetta, and Browz; to maintain qualifying status. Respond to any contract requests and work closely with Legal Contracts team
- Hold responsibility of domain manager for CPS Service, including course development, editing, uploading, and curriculum development within Eaton University
- Engagement with teams and committees needed to accomplish established targets and objectives for the year associated with EHS
- Co-Lead annual EHS Refresher training and safety feedback sessions nationwide
- Conduct assessments of Electrical Safety and EHS Programs, including field inspections, policy and procedure reviews to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
- Lead Incident investigations and identify corrective actions that address root cause
- Provide occasional EHS project and customer support onsite as needed (~25% travel)
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three years' experience in EHS in industry
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing in the West Coast/Rocky Mountain region will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Environmental Health & Safety related degree
- Proven experience in knowledge and/or experience driving process improvements and sustaining implementation to prevent future incidents
- Strong knowledge in federal RCRA waste management regulations and EPA, OSHA & DOT federal, state, and local regulations
- Highly proficient in data management
