Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Spotter Labs is seeking a Junior Finance Operations Analyst to support their day-to-day finance operations. The role involves maintaining organized financial records, processing expenses, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Support daily finance operations and administrative finance tasks
- Process and review accounts payable, expenses, and financial transactions
- Reconcile expense reports and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor and manage corporate card transactions
- Prepare and update reports using Excel or Google Sheets
- Assist with month-end finance processes and reconciliations
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related issues
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation across all finance processes
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency
- Provide reliable follow-through on assigned tasks and meet deadlines
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, Expense Management, or a similar finance role
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, data organization, and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Availability to work during Chicago (Central Time) business hours
- Experience working for a US-based company or supporting US finance teams
- Hands-on experience with corporate card and expense management platforms such as Ramp, Divvy or similar tools
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
- Experience working in a remote, international team
