[Remote] GIS - Business analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ztek Consulting is seeking a GIS Business Analyst with extensive experience in the field. The role involves leading incident management, overseeing backlog prioritization, and coordinating testing across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking
• Manage and track security vulnerabilities including CVE-related risks
• Own Jira backlog including epics, stories, defects, and sprint prioritization with regular discussion with Leader and PO
• Coordinate testing across technology and business teams
• Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide leadership reporting on progress, risks, and impediments

Skills

• 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and backlog management (Jira preferred)
• Experience supporting GIS or enterprise platforms
