Motion is building an AI-native platform that connects performance marketers and creative teams to enhance their advertising strategies. They are seeking an Executive IC in Engineering who will own a customer-facing product surface and set high standards for quality by actively participating in the development process.
Responsibilities
- Owning a meaningful surface of Motion's product end-to-end and setting the quality bar by shipping it yourself
- Using AI tooling to operate with the leverage of a whole team and helping shape how AI is used across the engineering organization
- Raising the craft and velocity of the engineering team by example, not by managing it
Skills
- A long track record of building and shipping software, including leading engineering organizations at scale while remaining deeply hands-on
- A development workflow already built around AI coding agents, where tools like Claude Code and Cursor are second nature
- The judgment to make big technical calls and the ability to implement them yourself
- The mindset of someone who could start a company but would rather join one that's already moving fast
