The Ecommerce Growth Specialist will be responsible for driving the growth and performance of Haleysbeauty.com and Ulta.com, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and optimizing the online shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Own HALEYS Beauty's customer lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, loyalty, and retention marketing
- Build and optimize automated customer journeys, including welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, browse abandonment, and cart abandonment flows
- Launch and scale Haleys Beauty's loyalty program to increase repeat purchases, customer lifetime value, and engagement
- Develop promotional calendars aligned with product launches, retailer events, and seasonal campaigns
- Launch and optimize Virtual Try-On (VTO) experiences and skin quizzes to improve customer engagement and conversion
- Analyze customer behavior and continuously optimize retention, repeat purchase rate, and lifetime value
- Own the growth and performance of HaleysBeauty.com
- Optimize the online shopping experience through site merchandising, landing pages, PDPs, bundles, quizzes, and promotional experiences
- Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives to improve conversion, average order value, and customer retention
- Develop and execute SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve visibility across search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms
- Leverage AI tools and automation to improve content creation, merchandising, personalization, customer insights, and marketing efficiency
- Partner with Creative to develop merchandising assets and test new content, messaging, and customer experiences
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition and conversion
- Own the digital growth strategy for Ulta.com
- Develop and manage promotional calendars aligned with retailer events and product launches
- Partner with Ulta's marketing team to execute co-op campaigns, merchandising initiatives, product launches, and promotional events
- Manage Criteo campaigns to drive traffic, visibility, and conversion across Ulta.com
- Optimize assortment, product discoverability, PDP content, imagery, ratings, and reviews to maximize sales performance
- Identify opportunities to expand merchandising placements, retail media, and retailer marketing programs
- Launch and scale affiliate marketing programs to drive profitable customer acquisition
- Partner with the Social & Influencer Manager to develop influencer campaigns that support both DTC and retail growth
- Evaluate new growth channels, AI-powered marketing solutions, and emerging technologies to increase revenue, efficiency, and customer acquisition
- Measure channel performance and optimize investments based on business impact and profitability
- Own key ecommerce KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, retention, LTV, email revenue, affiliate performance, and customer acquisition costs
- Develop reporting dashboards and provide actionable recommendations based on performance data
- Monitor consumer trends, competitive activity, search trends, and AI-driven commerce innovations to identify new growth opportunities
- Build scalable growth systems, processes, and AI-enabled workflows that support the next stage of Haleys Beauty's expansion
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing for a consumer brand
- Proven experience driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across DTC and retail.com channels
- Hands-on experience managing email, SMS, customer lifecycle marketing, and CRM programs using platforms such as Klaviyo
- Experience owning Shopify websites, including site merchandising, landing pages, customer journeys, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Experience managing or supporting retail.com channels such as Ulta.com, Sephora, Target, or similar retail partners
- Experience managing retail media campaigns, including Criteo or similar retail advertising platforms
- Strong understanding of website merchandising, customer journey optimization, personalization, and ecommerce best practices
- Beauty, fashion, wellness, or consumer products experience
- Experience launching or scaling customer loyalty programs
- Working knowledge of SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), with an understanding of how AI-powered search is changing product discovery
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve marketing workflows, content development, campaign optimization, customer insights, and operational efficiency
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar reporting platforms to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience building or managing affiliate marketing programs using platforms such as Impact, ShareASale, or Awin
- Experience partnering with retailer marketing teams on co-op campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and promotional activations
- Experience supporting influencer marketing campaigns and integrating creator content into ecommerce and retail marketing strategies
