They are seeking a Customer Delivery Architect - Wireless to support Service Provider and Enterprise accounts, responsible for the delivery of wireless planning, design, implementation, and optimization services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Wireless Planning, Design, Implementation & Optimization Services to Cisco's major accounts
- Performs architectural planning and design along with configuration and integration support
- Also provides operational support for complex, wireless network deployments
- Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Cisco Services adoption
Skills
- Typically requires a BSEE/CS or equivalent plus 5-10 years of experience in a network engineering or telecommunications support environment (MS strongly preferred), along with strong technical account management skills
- In-depth knowledge of Wireless technology—specifically Catalyst IOS XE WLC units including virtual appliances—combined with RF Design, Survey/Engineering, and troubleshooting skills using either Ekahau or Hamina
- IP Network Design skills, a working understanding of successfully deploying Cisco Spaces within a customer environment, and experience designing and deploying key WLAN applications (Voice over WLAN, Context-Aware Location-Based Services, and Wireless Guest Access)
- Thorough understanding of WLAN security and network management (including ISE and/or RADIUS services), coupled with expert-level inter-networking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment
- CCIE
- CCIE-WLAN, CCNP-WLAN, CCNA-WLAN
- CWNA, CWSP, CWAP, CWNE
- CCNP, CCDP
- Project Management, leadership and mentoring skills
- IP networking, LAN Switching, VoIP, etc
- In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability, QOS & capacity planning
