Patriot Growth Insurance Services is a growth-focused national insurance services firm seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. The role involves managing day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance accounts and providing high-quality service to clients, Producers, and carrier partners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional service to clients, Producers, carrier representatives, and internal team members
- Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned commercial accounts, including policy changes, account maintenance, and client support needs
- Rate and quote commercial insurance policies using carrier websites and available agency systems to support new and renewal business
- Handle renewal submissions and assist in the remarketing process to help secure appropriate coverage solutions for clients
- Prepare proposals and supporting materials for Sales Executives and Producers
- Respond to client inquiries, troubleshoot coverage or service-related issues, and coordinate timely resolutions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy activity, and account updates within agency systems
- Support sales teams and new Producers by helping explain commercial lines coverages, products, and service processes
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving insurance products, carrier requirements, and service standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to support workflow management, team priorities, and client retention initiatives
- Support special projects, departmental initiatives, and additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Skills
- Active New York Property & Casualty insurance license
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, peers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborative, client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- 3–5 years of commercial insurance customer service, account management, or insurance sales experience
- Experience working with commercial insurance products, coverages, renewals, and carrier rating platforms
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency systems
