Team Red Dog is hiring a Business Systems Analyst – Supply Chain & Data Analytics for their client, a leading cloud and software provider. This role involves combining business systems analysis, data analytics, and supply chain operations to drive meaningful business outcomes, including building Power BI dashboards and delivering insights to improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Gather, analyze, and interpret complex business and supply chain data to support strategic decision-making
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Support order fulfillment managers by providing timely reporting and operational insights
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation
- Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support technology implementation decisions
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure business requirements are successfully implemented
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while managing priorities and meeting established deadlines
- Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations proactively with stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality reporting while meeting agreed-upon timelines and service expectations
Skills
- Data Analysis & Power BI (3+ years) – Analyze large datasets, build new Power BI dashboards, enhance existing reporting, and deliver actionable insights that support operational decision-making
- Supply Chain Operations (3+ years) – Experience supporting supply chain reporting, order fulfillment, master data, or operational process improvement using data-driven analysis
- Business Systems Analysis (5+ years preferred) – Gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, partner with developers, and support complex business processes across multiple initiatives
- Microsoft Office & Communication Skills (3+ years) – Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency combined with strong written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 5–7 years of Business Systems Analyst or similar experience
- 3+ years of hands-on data analysis experience working with complex datasets
- 3+ years of supply chain operations, reporting, or supply chain analytics experience
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Working knowledge of programming concepts sufficient to understand code and collaborate with development teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering quality work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work remotely while supporting Pacific Time core business hours
- Must be available to begin work immediately
