Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kirklees Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Virtual School Business Support Team. The role involves providing comprehensive business support services related to statutory functions for children in care, ensuring effective management of educational provisions and funding allocations.
Responsibilities
- Processing payments to education settings and suppliers
- Specialist and technical administrative support
- Data processing (input and retrieval), including service-based and bespoke IT systems
- Responding to complex enquiries
- Provide project support, research and collate information as directed
- Complex and specialist word processing
- Produce routine statistical information and management information
- Arrange meetings, take minutes and produce appropriate documentation
Skills
- Be an employee of Kirklees Council

- Have successfully completed your probationary period
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work to a high level of accuracy

- Proactive and able to work with limited supervision
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint
- Demonstrate business admin skills to NVQ Level 3
- Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality issues relating to sensitive and personal information
