The role involves generating new business, building relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborating with engineering teams to drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage new customers through outbound prospecting, networking and face-to-face meetings
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across enterprise, colocation and hyperscale data center operators
- Generate qualified opportunities for the commercial and engineering teams
- Maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools
- Gather market intelligence on customer challenges, competitor activity and industry trends
Skills
- A proven hunter with a passion for winning new business
- Experience selling into the data center, critical infrastructure, HVAC, cooling, electrical, power generation or industrial technology sectors
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and regular customer meetings
- Confident engaging senior decision-makers and opening new accounts
- Self-motivated, resilient and highly target-driven
