They are seeking a Business Development Manager for Outside Sales to develop and grow relationships with customers, manage the sales cycle, and contribute to the company's growth targets.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
- Identify, grow, and penetrate new sales opportunities and execute all levels of the sales process, including developing solutions and pricing strategies
- Conduct physical visits to customer locations to assess needs and provide solutions, with a demonstrated working knowledge of NFPA96 standards for fire protection of commercial cooking operations
- Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for business operations
- Develop and manage quotes and contracts to meet customer needs and business plans
- Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to sales improvement initiatives
Skills
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
- General knowledge of building fire safety and the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency with various digital tools and technologies, including a computer, smartphone, and common software applications, to complete job tasks efficiently
