The Business Development Manager will own the sales pipeline, initiate new business development, and support deal progression while representing the company in the market.
Responsibilities
- Own the sales pipeline proactively
- Initiate and drive new business development from lead generation through early-stage opportunity qualification
- Qualify prospects, uncover business challenges, and shape opportunities to penetrate mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Develop and execute account strategies focused on high-value opportunities
- Prepare and support client meetings with clear messaging and value positioning
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver compelling early-stage interactions
- Ensure alignment and continuity across all touchpoints
- Contribute to solution framing, proposal development, and commercial discussions
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to move deals forward
- Actively participate and present in conferences, webinars, and partner events
- Generate and convert leads from all marketing and networking activities
- Establish relationships with key partners to identify joint opportunities
Skills
- 2–6 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in consulting, IT services, or digital transformation
- A growth mindset with a passion for generating new business and opening doors
- Proven ability to build sales pipeline through proactive outreach and opportunity development
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and executive audiences
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value
- Self-starter mentality with high energy, resilience, and accountability for results
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player who can work across functions and levels
- Domain knowledge in Business Process Management (BPM), process improvement, or transformation is highly desirable
