Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Outpost Mission Services LLC is a rapidly growing provider of end-to-end ground system field services. They are seeking a results-driven Business Development and Sales Manager to expand market share, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies in coordination with the CSDO
- Generate leads with OEMs, federal integrators, and commercial and government clients through outreach, networking, and meetings
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close
- Establish and maintain long-term customer and partner relationships
- Lead sales presentations, contract negotiations, and deal closures
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and competitive activity
- Collaborate with internal teams to align goals and transition won opportunities to operations
- Track and report sales metrics, forecasts, and market insights
- Capture customer feedback to support improvements to products and services
- Prepare responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs for commercial and government clients
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field (experience may substitute)
- Five+ years in business development or sales, preferably in antenna, radar, satellite, or related industries
- Proven success generating new business and managing complex sales cycles
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and pipeline management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to leverage existing relationships and build new ones with key decision-makers
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AI tools, and CRM platforms
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance
- Established relationships with OEMs in radome, antenna, satellite ground stations, or radar sectors
- Experience securing federal contracts and managing federal integrator partnerships
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Ability to use AI and software tools for automated dashboarding and trend analysis
- Familiarity with strategic partnerships and digital marketing tools
