The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for preparing due diligence reports, mentoring staff, and assisting with environmental assessments and remediation projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare due diligence (ASTM Phase I/Phase II) reports and mentor staff through due diligence projects
- Gather, analyze, and interpret technical data
- Prepare environmental technical reports
- Mentor staff through the collection of soil, soil vapor, water, and/or air samples utilizing different sampling techniques
- Prepare Florida-specific regulatory reports, environmental site assessments, and assist projects through remediation
- Assistance with the preparation of proposals and scopes of work
- Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks
- Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities
Skills
- BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering or other related field
- 4+ years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and technical report preparation
- Experience with Florida-specific environmental programs and familiarity with South Florida hydrogeology
- The ability to successfully multi-task, strong safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Reside in S. Florida
- Professional license track preferred (P.G. or P.E.)
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Light remediation construction experience/hands-on skills a plus
