EWS Group is a market leader in software and services for the moving and storage industry, offering a web-based warehouse management solution. The Account Executive will focus on new sales for this solution, utilizing business development skills to identify prospects and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Drive results through high-volume prospecting activities via phone and email to build and maintain a funnel of future business opportunities
- Plan and manage new client outreach campaigns to ensure all leads are contacted at the appropriate cadence and with appropriate messaging
- Develop call and messaging scripts for client prospecting
- Evaluate potential customers to determine how our products can best serve them and to identify the most effective sales approach for each prospect
- Develop proposals and conduct client sales presentations with the support of our Technical Sales Specialist
- Negotiate and close new business agreements
- Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, contracts, and activities
- Work with EWS / Cora team on marketing initiatives to generate leads
- Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to expand knowledge and build your prospect funnel
- Monitor your sales goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and deliver results for internal and external stakeholders
- Prioritize and manage time effectively to maximize productivity
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Warehousing industry with a solid understanding of financial metrics and business drivers
- Proven track record of success in high volume business development activities, with a track record of cold outreach and sales conversion and a history of meeting and exceeding targets
- Strong record of success in sales, business development, and new business acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through effective lead generation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills—able to build genuine connections from skilled labor to C-suite executives
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication
- Socially adept, flexible, and hands-on
- Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic with a high attention to detail
