About the Position A growing renewable energy company is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an
Regional O&M/Field Service Manager
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing uptime and ensuring optimal performance across a portfolio of solar energy facilities.
Responsibilities
• Ensure optimal asset performance to meet or exceed energy production targets
• Monitor and report on daily asset performance using asset management software
• Analyze performance data and troubleshoot operational issues
• Oversee third-party operations and maintenance (O&M) providers, ensuring execution of preventive and corrective tasks
• Recommend or implement performance improvement initiatives
• Conduct monthly site inspections and generate associated reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Track and manage O&M expenditures to remain within budget
• Prepare and issue regular internal and external performance reports
• Participate in periodic meetings with internal teams and external partners
• Interpret and enforce O&M agreements and contracts
• Manage timely renewals and renegotiations of contracts related to vegetation control and module cleaning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely renewal of licenses and permits
• Collaborate with asset management to support accurate monthly production data for invoicing
• Coordinate with data acquisition system (DAS) providers for performance tracking and subscription management
• Support technical due diligence for asset acquisitions
• Provide engineering or project management assistance to the construction team as needed
• Contribute to insurance claims processes when necessary
