For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see .JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSPenn State, one of the top public universities in the country with almost 75,000 undergraduates and more than 788,000 alumni across the world, is seeking a Part-Time Admissions Representative to support the Undergraduate Admissions Office in Florida.The Part-Time Admissions Representative position will be responsible for attending and representing Penn State Undergraduate Admissions at college fairs and high schools in their area. Ideal candidates will provide outstanding customer service to prospective students and families and serve as a friendly source of information for those interested in attending any Penn State undergraduate campus. This role will report to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and work collaboratively with the regional admissions counselor for the area, other admission colleagues, and local alumni clubs and volunteers to provide the highest quality recruitment and customer service to assist Penn State with achieving its enrollment goals.Position ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: QualificationsCandidates for this position should also: Salary $20.00/hourBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
