Who we’re looking for  Fieldwire is seeking a proactive, commercially minded Paralegal to join our growing Contracts & Legal Operations team. This is a broad, high-impact role that spans commercial contracts, procurement, office administration, and operational legal matters. You will be a key interface between our customers, vendors, and internal teams — managing contracts end-to-end, supporting deal deployment, and helping scale our operational infrastructure. You will work closely with the Director of Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT/Security to ensure Fieldwire's contracting and operational processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable.  What you’ll be doing  The primary responsibilities for this role include:  Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including customer contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, procurement terms, and amendments  Act as primary interface with customers for contractual matters — ensuring contractual obligations are clearly communicated, understood, and monitored throughout the contract lifecycle  Review terms and conditions to identify and address risks across financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, IP, termination, indemnification, and all other material risk areas; recommend mitigation strategies  Plug into deployment efforts: structure contracts, pricing frameworks, and operational setup for new customer and partner engagements  Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contracting efficiency — including template management, playbook development, and automation  Collaborate with business units (Sales, Finance, Product) and legal team members to streamline contract management processes and drive continuous improvement  Implement and administer the CLM platform (Summize) — including redline workflows, approval routing, Salesforce integration, and automated tracking  Support procurement activities: evaluate vendor terms, track renewal schedules, manage pricing insights across the vendor portfolio  Assist with and drive internal scaling initiatives including office lease management, office expansion, and international operational setup  Handle office operations matters including HQ building operations support, lease administration, and vendor/facilities management  Advise on a variety of legal matters including information security and compliance, intellectual property rights, and data privacy — including negotiating data protection agreements (DPAs) and answering data privacy queries  Maintain familiarity with CLM and security tools relevant to contract governance and compliance  Assist with and drive internal initiatives such as DOD compliance support, risk management activities, and audit preparation  Monitor regulatory and contractual obligations; proactively flag upcoming milestones, renewals, and risks to relevant stakeholders  Core qualifications and experience:  Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved programme, or equivalent legal training  3+ years of paralegal or contracts experience, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or fast-growth company  Direct experience with a variety of legal matters including strategic business agreements, information security and compliance, IP, and data privacy (including negotiating DPAs)  Strong working knowledge of commercial contract structures, risk identification, and mitigation strategies  Experience with CLM platforms and/or security/compliance tools (e.g. Summize, Ironclad, DocuSign)  Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM and how contracts integrate with deal workflows  Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to explain complex legal concepts clearly to business stakeholders  Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams independently  High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail  Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving processes  And if you have any of the following, we REALLY want you to apply today!  Versatile self-starter — comfortable picking up any topic as it arises, from security questionnaires to ad-hoc compliance or legal requests, and running with it independently  Experience with office lease administration and facilities management  Familiarity with DOD compliance requirements or government contracting standards  Knowledge of international operations, entity setup, or cross-border contracting  Exposure to construction industry contracts, lien waivers, or project-based procurement  Experience supporting a Deal Desk or Revenue Operations function  Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy frameworks as applied to commercial agreements  Compensation:  The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00  The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
