Position Summary:
The Regional Director provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for programs across the assigned service lines within their region. Reporting to the Vice President of Program Operations, this role is responsible for driving program growth, financial performance, clinical excellence, and operational effectiveness across residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
The Regional Director oversees all day-to-day operations within the assigned region, including but not limited to P&L management, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement. This leader partners closely with clinical leadership, finance, strategy, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while achieving sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversees day to day operations of assigned programs and analyzes Key Performance Indicators of each program to ensure the embodiment of the organizational values of access to care and clinical quality.
Leads in a solution focused manner with an emphasis on continuous improvement for facilities and the organization.
Ensures programs are in compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and requirements of third-party payers.
Collaborates with VP of Operations to identify areas of improvement within programs and solution focused plans of action.
Analyze financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to promote effective use of program(s) resources and alignment to budget.
Works collaboratively with Human Resources department to lead team and establish a trusting and productive department. This includes carrying out essential HR functions for direct reports (i.e. hiring, annual reviews, performance management, and personnel improvement plans).
Maintains excellent and prompt communication with all support departments to ensure coordination of operational activities.
Interacts with outside eating disorder, substance abuse, and mental health treatment programs and providers at all levels of care to establish referral relationships, educate regarding our treatment approach, and facilitate continuity of care for shared clients.
Promotes superb customer service and excellent service delivery
Assists with clinical work in the program(s) (if applicable) and engages patients in a meaningful and supportive recovery process.
Contributes to effective teamwork by encouraging staff to work independently and to seek support when needed.
Supports staff by helping with any job duties in the facility, as they need to be completed, and creating a culture where all contribute to provide high quality care to our patients.
Participate in clinical/administrative on call rotation.
Knowledge, Education, Experience:
Master’s Degree or Doctorate, required
Clinical Licensure, preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LPCC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
Minimum of three years of management experience in the healthcare industry, required

Employment Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Flexibility after hours and weekends as needed)
Work Location: Remote - must be located on the East Coast
Compensation: Pay Range: $145,000 - $160,000/annually
