Position Summary East Coast Toyota is seeking a high-performing Internet Sales Specialist to manage the entire customer journey — from the first digital inquiry to final delivery. This is not a traditional BDC role. We are looking for a professional who can engage, build value, structure deals, and close customers remotely, creating a seamless, modern buying experience before they ever walk into the showroom. You will be responsible for owning your leads from A–Z, ensuring no opportunity is missed and every customer receives a high-level, professional experience. What Makes This Role Different • You are not just setting appointments — you are selling • You will own the customer relationship from start to finish • You will be expected to structure deals and secure commitments remotely • You will play a direct role in gross profit generation and customer retention Key Responsibilities • Respond immediately to all internet, phone, and digital inquiries • Build rapport and establish trust through phone, text, and email communication • Conduct full needs assessments to match customers with the right vehicle • Present vehicle options, pricing, and payment structures remotely • Handle objections and guide customers through the buying process • Ask for the deposit and secure the deal prior to showroom visit • Coordinate showroom appointments for final delivery and paperwork • Maintain complete and accurate CRM records for all interactions • Follow up consistently to maximize closing ratios and customer retention • Work closely with sales management to ensure deal structure and profitability Performance Expectations & Accountability • Manage high-volume lead flow with no missed opportunities • Maintain strict CRM discipline and follow-up processes • Drive appointment show rates and closing ratios • Contribute to gross profit through proper deal structuring • Execute consistent follow-up for unsold leads and past customers • Support internal marketing efforts through database engagement and retention What We’re Looking For • Previous automotive sales or high-performing BDC experience required • Strong phone presence and ability to build value remotely • Proven ability to close, not just set appointments • Highly organized and process-driven • Experience working in CRM systems (VinSolutions, Eleads, Reynolds, etc.) • Strong written communication (text/email) skills • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset Compensation & Benefits • Aggressive compensation plan with strong earning potential • Performance-based bonuses tied to appointments, shows, and sales • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • 401(k) retirement plan • Paid time off • Employee vehicle purchase program • Career advancement opportunities — we promote from within Why Join East Coast Toyota • High-volume dealership with strong lead flow • Modern digital sales environment with the tools to succeed • Leadership team focused on performance, accountability, and growth • Opportunity to build a long-term career in automotive sales Schedule Full-time position with evenings and Saturdays required.
