Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering and team leadership roles.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools, scripting languages, and version
control systems
Key Responsabilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of servers, storage, networks, and virtualization platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions to enhance IT capabilities and efficiency.
- Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) techniques.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive measures for optimization and risk mitigation.
- Oversee and optimize the organization’s backup strategy to ensure reliable data protection, successful recovery, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce security controls, access controls, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct security assessments and support incident response and forensic investigations.
- Manage cloud infrastructure services and optimize resource usage and costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with other IT and business teams to support projects and resolve technical issues.
