About the Role Our client, a forward-thinking wellness center focused on integrative health, is seeking a dedicated **Holistic Nutritionist & Dietitian** to join their team in **Des Moines, Iowa**. This role emphasizes a whole-person approach to health, focusing on personalized nutrition plans that support overall well-being, not just dietary intake. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique health goals, lifestyle, and dietary habits, developing customized strategies that incorporate whole foods, mindful eating, and sustainable lifestyle changes. The position offers a **hybrid** work model, allowing for both in-person consultations at our **Des Moines** clinic and remote client engagement. We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable professional committed to client success. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and health history reviews. Develop individualized nutrition and dietary plans based on client needs, health conditions, and goals. Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, food choices, and preparation techniques. Guide clients in implementing sustainable lifestyle changes to support their health objectives. Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients with complex health issues. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutrition science, dietetics, and holistic health. Prepare educational materials and resources for clients and workshops. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Communicate effectively with clients through both in-person meetings and virtual platforms. Requirements Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required. Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nutrition or a related practice, with a focus on holistic and integrative approaches. Knowledge of various dietary approaches and their impact on health. Excellent counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual communication tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning. Ability to work a **hybrid** schedule, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
