**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Specialist II, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work
* Delivering professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations
* Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team
* Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry
* Utilizing software applications to retrieve and enter data
* Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
* Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
* Valid Florida driver's license required
