The Biostatistics Intern will contribute to projects using statistical and computational skills, while gaining insights into drug development and statistical applications in clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior-level biostatisticians on innovative statistical methodology and application related to clinical trial design and analysis
- Complete assigned goals and objectives that support the strategic business plan of the company
- Engage in dynamic team projects and present work to the Biostatistics team at the end of the internship
Skills
- Current PhD student in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and able to work independently and as a team member
- Sufficient skills in at least one of the two programming languages: SAS or R
- Familiarity with clinical trial design and statistical modeling is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
