About the Role
As an Automotive Software Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities for our Account Executives. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective dealership clients, introducing them to Vicimus' innovative technology and marketing solutions while building strong relationships and uncovering opportunities to help their business succeed.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role that blends prospecting, relationship building, business development, and strategic communication.
Responsibilities
Prospect new automotive dealership opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, social outreach, and follow-up activities
Generate and qualify sales opportunities for the Account Executive team
Build relationships with dealership owners, General Managers, Sales Managers, and other key decision-makers
Understand each prospect's business challenges and position Vicimus solutions that create value
Maintain accurate prospect information and activity within HubSpot CRM
Manage your sales pipeline with discipline, ensuring consistent follow-up and opportunity progression
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to maximize campaign success and lead conversion
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance goals
Provide valuable market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and future sales initiatives
Continuously learn our products, industry trends, and dealership operations to better support prospective clients
Contribute ideas that improve our sales processes, customer experience, and overall business growth
Experience & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a customer-facing sales role
Proven success prospecting new business and generating qualified opportunities
Experience making outbound calls and developing relationships with new prospects
Experience using HubSpot or another CRM platform is considered an asset
Experience selling SaaS, technology, digital marketing, or software solutions is considered an asset
Automotive dealership experience or experience selling into the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong relationship-building, listening, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve results
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new technology
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for helping customers succeed
