Role Overview
Our client Trace3 is hiring Associate Cloud Engineers to execute AWS migration activities within a structured migration factory model. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on migration execution.
Key Responsibilities
Execute server and application migrations to AWS:
o Install migration agents
o Perform replication setup and monitoring
o Execute cutovers
o Conduct post-migration validation
Provision infrastructure using Terraform / CloudFormation
Configure AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
Support wave-based migration execution
Monitor systems using CloudWatch and logging tools
Troubleshoot migration and environment issues
Follow runbooks and SOPs for migration activities
Document migration steps and update knowledge base
Collaborate with Lead Engineers and Architects
Required Qualifications
1 3+ years of cloud or infrastructure experience
Hands-on exposure to AWS services
Basic understanding of:
o Networking (VPC, DNS, routing)
o Compute & storage
o IAM and security basics
Familiarity with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation)
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Preferred Certification
AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer Associate
Preferred Certifications
AWS Solutions Architect Associate
